Summer Fun Doesn’t End in August!
W-O-W! We are offering reduced rates of only $135/night (or $750/week) for the month of September. It's a well-kept secret that September is one of the best months of the year to visit western North Carolina! There'so many fun family activities, you'll have a hard time picking which to check out.
Here are just a few of the many local activities going on during the coming month. Enjoy peaceful mountain scenery and old-fashioned country charm while you pick your own apples at one of the areas many apple orchards. Many of the farms also offer hayrides, farm animals, apple products for sale, area crafts and picnic areas. A fantastic family outing! Rejuvenate in the fresh mountain breeze on a scenic horseback trail ride at one of the local stables. Broad River Gems offers great gem mining and a fossil dig for the kids and a spectacular gem museum and shop for Mom and Dad. Located just a few miles from the cabin, Broad River Gem mine is located directly on the Rocky Broad River for a picturesque and fun setting. The Hickory Nut Olympiad is an annual charity event offering over 20 events from bike races, climbing, skiing and more. Experience nature up-close at the Western North Carolina Nature Center. During the month of September, they offer Elk viewing excursions and Big Cat Experience. Biltmore Estate - many activities throughout the month of activity. Our guests often tell us that the Biltmore Estate was the highlight of their visit. There's so much to do -- much more than you might imagine!
